For our Global Digital Transformation Department in Dendermonde, we are looking for a Digital Transformation Engineer.

What will you do for us as a Digital Transformation Engineer?

As a member of our Global Digital Transformation Department, the Digital Transformation Engineer is involved as a full stack developer in translating operations business requirements into global innovative smart manufacturing solutions using modern technology.

• Technical solutions design and alignment based on functional requirements contributing to the overall success of PSS’s global smart manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop cloud and mobile applications, using a low-code development platform (Mendix) to support the daily activities in our production facilities (MES, Dashboarding, Reporting).
• Build integrations and interfaces between different applications, including. SAP interfaces, machines and IoT sensors utilizing data acquisition platforms and industrial standards like OPC UA, MQTT, OData.
• Set up data integrations between the assets in the factories and the cloud data storage environment (Microsoft Azure), ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data flows.
• Provide daily technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of digital solutions within the production environment.

What will you bring to PSS?

• A higher education (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with solution design, cloud architectures, development, databases, and DevOps (scrum)
• Affinity with production environments and processes.
• Knowledge of MOMS/MES/SCADA.
• Knowledge of IoT solutions and interfacing (REST, MQTT, OPC UA, …)
• Experience with Mendix is a plus.
• Experience with data logging in Azure is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of AI is a plus.
• Very good knowledge English. Dutch is a plus.
• Hands-on, ownership mindset, and result-driven approach.
• Willing to travel (China, Malaysia, Mexico, Hungary, Germany and Belgium)
