 What will you do for us as a Global Learning and Development Specialist?

As a Global Learning and Development Specialist, you play a key role in shaping the skills and unfolding the potential of our colleagues worldwide. Reporting to the Global Talent Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs in line with our company goals. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing the capabilities of our employees and driving performance excellence across the organization.

Global Focus:

• As key user of our global learning system (SuccessFactors), you own and maintain our platform, ensuring its functionality and reliability. You work closely with all sites supporting them in using and further developing this system.
• You are in the lead for updating our training catalog with new courses and learning opportunities in multiple languages.
• Together with internal stakeholders you design and develop appealing training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, training videos….
• You look for continuous improvement by evaluating the effectiveness and impact of our training programs.

Local Focus (Dendermonde):

• You identify training needs by in-depth assessments across departments.
• To address specific skill gaps and development opportunities, you work closely with department managers.
• To improve and extend our training offer, you search, evaluate, and select the best external training providers.
• You plan training courses and communicate training details, schedules, and requirements to participants and relevant stakeholders.
• You report on training activities and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards in all training programs.

What will you bring to PSS?

• Knowledge of learning principles and instructional design (gained by multiple years of experience in learning & development or by a strong affinity in this area from within the business).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze, structure and provide information in a visual and attractive way that is easy to capture.
• A good dose of curiosity to follow up trends and the courage to experiment with new ways of learning.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training software.
• A role model showing strong self-development and eagerness to learn.
• Highly supporting attitude to business and local HR partners.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Finding your way in industry-specific subsidies and funding programs.
