For our HR Department in Dendermonde, we are looking for a Global Project Quality Manager EU/APAC.

 What will you do for us as a Global Project Quality Manager EU/APAC?

• Ensure the Quality of the different projects at the development center
• Manage the Customer Quality Engineers CQE and Quality Engineers QE within your team.
• Understand and manage customer requirements related to Quality.
• Provide timely input to the RFQ team.
• Participate and lead the APQP process and gate review of milestones.
• Participate D/P FMEA Studies
• Manage and review the PPAP documentation.
• Track the project quality overview and validation status of different projects.

What will you bring to PSS?

• Proven experience in project quality, managing teams, knowledge about quality tools, systems, practices, statistical studies.
• You can travel up to 20% of your time for project follow up purposes and audit support.
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills
  • Ability to handle a diverse team environment.
  • Strong expertise in quality tools, methods as used in the automotive industry
    • PDCA, FMEA, Ishikawa, MSA, CPK, PPK, DOE, APQP, PPAP, SPC, CP, …
  • Affiliation and experience in IATF-16949 / VDA6.3
  • Proven experience in the common quality & problem-solving tools
  • Strong Project Management skills including specification management, technical negation, combined with a result oriented, analytical, systematic, proactive, open to change mindset.
  • Team player, be able to communicate concisely and transparently to different levels & departments in the organization.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • People Management skills: good communicator with the ability to listen, coach and guide.
